The mission of Fit Esteem is to empower you and yours to live a healthier life through physical fitness and wholistic wellness.

Meet Chesna Closs, MSW, ACE-CPT, Meditation Coach

Don’t let this pic fool you!

I wasn’t always so comfortable in my skin. I’m NOT a fitness fanatic. And the road that got me here wasn’t a smooth one. Everyone in my immediate family lived with or died from chronic illness(es) or disease(s), and everyone lived with chronic, long-term stress. I was on the SAME path until I got God smacked a few times. Ok, more like several. Family health legacies run deep y’all!

I changed how I lived and the choices I made. But the game changer was exercise and how it made me feel physically and emotionally. I described it as “the feeling you get from being fit” and called it fit esteem.

I combined my background in social work with my love for fitness, and developed a more wholistic approach to fitness. I became a personal trainer & fitness counselor and created Fit Esteem®.

Is this a good fit for you?

The Fit Esteem approach is holistic. FE programs start with a foundation in physical fitness, but we don’t just stop there. We also include the nutritional, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of wellness.
